Job Summary:

This full-time, permanent position involves providing advanced support to a Senior Solicitor and Director, who manages a demanding caseload.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying problems and implementing solutions, as well as building and maintaining knowledge of clients and their matters.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Support Services: Provide high-level support to the solicitor, including preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Calendar Organisation: Manage and organise the solicitor's calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls, drafting responses as necessary.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience supporting a team with administrative duties.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Client Focus: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, displaying empathy and professionalism.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality.

The estimated salary for this role is around £26,000-£31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
