Role Overview:

The TerraPay Country Manager will spearhead the expansion of our global money movement services in the UK, focusing on strategic sales and business development. This individual will be responsible for driving market penetration, building and nurturing strategic relationships with fintechs, money remittance companies, and other financial institutions, and ensuring high levels of client retention and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting and implementing a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for TerraPay in the UK region.
  • Overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals with C-suite executives.
  • BUILDING AND NURTURING STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS WITH FINTECHS, MONEY REMITTANCE COMPANIES, AND OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS.
  • Addressing customer needs and exploring opportunities to enhance TerraPay's value proposition.
  • Facilitating smooth introduction of new services by ensuring effective communication and coordination internally.
  • Attending tradeshows, sourcing leads, and following the sales process.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely reporting using CRM tools.
  • Providing actionable insights and feedback to the line manager about pipeline status and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services realm, with hands-on experience in B2B sales, especially in Money Remittance, PSPs, or financial services.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or equivalent.
  • Strong CRM skills and flexibility in adapting to change.
  • Excellent customer and market centric skills, with a strong grasp of customer needs, market dynamics, and industry requirements.
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and fluency in English, with Spanish language an advantage.
