AECOM is a leading provider of environmental services, and we are seeking a Marine Environmental Consultant to join our team in the UK.

About the Role

This role will involve working with our clients to improve the environmental outcomes of their projects. You will be responsible for providing technical marine ecological and marine consenting advice, as well as managing inputs to workstreams and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive marine ecological expertise, with demonstrable experience in the preparation and review of specialist technical chapters and all associated impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical marine ecological and marine consenting advice to clients
  • Manage inputs to workstreams and deliverables
  • Deliver marine ecology impact assessments, including ES chapters and associated assessments
Requirements
  • Recognised degree in a relevant discipline such as marine biology/ecology or a related biological or science discipline
  • Appropriate professional membership (CIEEM or similar) or eligibility to qualify for this status
  • Comprehensive marine ecological expertise with demonstrable experience in the preparation and review of specialist technical chapters and all associated impact assessments
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including hybrid working options, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
