Job Summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Services Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Sterile Services department, you will be responsible for providing a first-class decontamination and sterilization service to hospitals, endoscopy units, and other healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and supervision within the Sterile Services department, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of decontamination and sterilization are maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Ensure that all equipment and instruments are properly decontaminated and sterilized, and that all procedures are followed in accordance with HTM 01-01 and HTM 01-06.
  • Provide training and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of decontamination and sterilization processes, and ensure that all relevant documentation is up-to-date.
  • Work variable hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, to ensure that the Sterile Services department is fully operational at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sterile services or decontamination role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HTM 01-01 and HTM 01-06, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
