Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Senior Groundworks Manager to oversee groundworks operations in the Chester area. This permanent full-time role offers a salary of £55,000 plus up to 8% bonus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction sites in the Chester area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and teams, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with site engineers to ensure timely provision of line and level.
  • Oversee quality management of substructure work, including drainage, foundations, and roads.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Manager.
  • Current health and safety card (CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS) and First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Valid 360 Excavator ticket and strong leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management skills, numeracy, and IT skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel. A full driving licence is also required.
