Supporting Children and Families through Occupational Therapy

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Children's Occupational Therapist to join our team within Children's Social Care. The successful candidate will work closely with children and families to assess and address their occupational therapy needs, providing a range of interventions to support participation, function, and well-being.

Key responsibilities include completing child-centred assessments, assessing the need for home adaptations, and progressing these through the Disabled Facilities Grant processes. You will also work closely with local housing associations and BCP Homes to recommend and facilitate adaptations that improve access to essential facilities within children's homes.

  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7000 tokens in length.
  • Diverse knowledge and understanding of how disability affects children and families.
  • Sound awareness of safeguarding practices.

The salary for this role is £43,000-£45,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time), reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.
