Job Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Children's Social Worker to work with our client in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Salary Range: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experience.

Main Tasks:
  1. Support children and families through various stages, including strategy meetings, court work, and Public Law Outline proceedings.
  2. Conduct assessments, investigate allegations of child abuse, and develop plans to safeguard children.
  3. Provide Section 17 support, apply for Emergency Protection Orders when necessary, and attend court to present reports.
  4. Ensure compliance with the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation.
Essential Skills:

A strong understanding of the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation is crucial. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also essential for this role.
