About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Swan at Walton-on-Thames. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and supporting our chef team in delivering exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Support the chef team in the efficient running of the kitchen, including managing grease traps, bins, and yard cleaning
  • Participate in deep cleaning of equipment and catering areas
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver top-quality service

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or similar role
  • High standards and a great work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative in delivering top-quality service

Working Hours

The role is spread over 5 from 7 days, including day-time, evening, and sometimes shifts of 10 hours, including breaks.
