About Us

At The Swan at Walton-on-Thames, we're seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including the walk-in fridge, chest freezers, and all catering equipment. This will involve a detailed and careful cleaning program, ensuring every inch of the kitchen is spotless every day.

Additional duties will include managing grease traps, bin yard cleaning, and deep cleaning of equipment and catering areas. You'll work a varied schedule, including day, evening, and occasional 10-hour shifts, including breaks.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, discussed face-to-face, and depending on experience. You'll also receive weekly pay directly into your bank account.

As a valued member of our team, you'll have access to our development courses, enabling you to progress your career and potentially become a commis chef, CDP, or sous chef.
