Child Placement Coordinator

We are recruiting for a dedicated Social Worker to join our North England Family Placement service, based in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing prospective foster carers, attending relevant meetings, and delivering regular support and supervision to foster carers.
Key tasks include completing assessment reports, attending CLA reviews, Placement Planning meetings, and panels, as well as providing timely recording and good communication with all professionals involved in placements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child protection, family placement, and Looked After Children procedures, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. A full current driving license and use of a car are essential for this role, although we may consider alternative proposals that enable the job to be done by other means.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary range of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 26 days annual leave, holiday pay, and access to a Group Personal Pension scheme.
