About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Pharmacist to join our team of specialist mental health pharmacists. You will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy advice on the management of patients with mental illness, maximizing benefit and minimizing risk in relation to medicines.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support the safe and effective use of medicines, participate in clinical audit, and contribute to the education and training of staff groups.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services to enhance the medicines-related care of patients
- Support the provision and development of medicines management services
- Participate in training, education, and audit as required
- Contribute to the organisation and management of the clinical pharmacy service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- General Pharmaceutical Council registration
- PG certificate/diploma in mental health pharmacy or equivalent experience
- Member of the RPS/Faculty membership
