About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacist to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Pharmacy department, you will be responsible for leading the running of clinics to switch patients to best value biosimilar and generic medicines across a variety of specialties.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services and advice to a specified clinical specialty(ies), demonstrating a high level of clinical effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop the delivery of medicines to Mid and South Essex hospital patients through homecare services in accordance with current regulatory and national standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-quality pharmacy service to patients within the Mid and South Essex hospitals requiring biologics therapy.

Requirements

  • Non-Medical Prescriber
  • Member of GPhC
  • MPharm Degree
