About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients with mental illness, enhancing their medicines-related care and supporting the provision and development of medicines management services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy advice on the management of patients with mental illness to maximise benefit and minimise risk in relation to medicines.
- Support and participate in clinical audit to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Contribute to the education and training of staff groups to enhance their knowledge and skills in medicines management.
- Participate as an active member of specific wards/units/clinical teams to support the safe and effective use of medicines.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
- PG certificate/diploma in mental health pharmacy or equivalent experience.
- Member of the RPS/Faculty membership.
