Business Administration Support Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for career progression within an exciting, fast-paced environment. As a Business Administration Support Assistant, you will be assisting the clerks and barristers in their daily duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the chambers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the clerks in fulfilling their duties and contribute to the smooth operation of the chambers.
- Support the barristers with their daily needs and provide assistance when attending court.
- Handle mail and parcels, including receipt, distribution and franking.
- Perform general office duties, including processing emails, scanning documents, photocopying and filing.
- Answer telephones and provide IT support.
- Paying in cheques at the bank and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Reception of clients and making of tea and coffee.
- Ordering and checking stock for stationery and office supplies.
- Set up and prepare conference rooms.
- Confidential waste disposal and general tidiness of the chambers.
Requirements:
Applicants should be literate and numerate, with a minimum Grade C/4 in English, Maths and IT.
Training and Development:
As a Business Administration Support Assistant, you will learn the skills you need on the job with the guidance of a development coach. You will complete the Business Administration Level 3 Standard and have the opportunity to progress to full-time employment after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
