Business Administration Apprentice

Job Summary:
Pump Court Chambers is a leading common law chambers in the UK, offering a unique opportunity for an administrative support assistant to join their team. As a Chambers Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the clerks room, assisting the clerks and barristers with their daily tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the clerks in fulfilling their duties and maintaining the efficient running of the clerks room.
- Support the barristers with their daily needs, including attending court and handling documentation.
- Handle post and parcels, including receipt, distribution, and franking.
- Perform general office duties, such as processing emails, scanning documents, and photocopying.
- Answer telephones and provide administrative support to the team.
- Be the on-call person for telephone and IT issues.
- Paying in cheques at the bank and assisting with ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
Applicants should be literate and numerate, with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. A Grade C/4 or above in English, Maths, and IT is required.
Training and Development:
Pump Court Chambers offers a Business Administration Level 3 Standard apprenticeship, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities. You will learn the skills you need on the job, with the guidance of a development coach, and finish your apprenticeship with a recognized qualification and valuable industry experience.
Future Prospects:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the potential for full-time employment with the company, with a salary rising from £18,000 to £20,000.
