We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Clinical Research Project Manager to join the Department of Respiratory Sciences at the University of Leicester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of investigator-led national and international research studies within the NIHR-Biomedical Research Centre's Respiratory and Infection theme.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate study set-up and monitoring, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of research governance.
- Provide line management to members of the research team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Travel within the UK and occasionally internationally, with the possibility of overnight stays.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a degree-level qualification (minimum 2:1) or extensive experience in relevant roles, such as study management or coordination. A solid understanding of sponsor responsibilities, research governance, and regulatory guidelines for clinical research is essential. You should also be comfortable using standard office systems and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
