Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Educator to join our team at the Institute for Excellence in Healthcare (IEH). In partnership with the University of Leicester, the IEH aims to deliver world-class research opportunities for healthcare colleagues in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of UHL and partner organizations at local, regional, and national levels. They will work closely with the IEH and the UHL Education and Practice Development Team to identify relevant research education and training needs.

The post-holder will engage with clinical areas to promote research awareness and deliver education in research practice. They will contribute to the development of the IEH research infrastructure to support local implementation of the IEH research objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research education and a passion for promoting high-quality care and research excellence. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

Main Duties
  1. Work with the IEH and the UHL Education and Practice Development Team to identify relevant research education and training needs.
  2. Engage with clinical areas to promote research awareness and deliver education in research practice.
  3. Contribute to the development of the IEH research infrastructure to support local implementation of the IEH research objectives.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of research education and a commitment to promoting high-quality care and research excellence. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
