Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Support Operations Officer to join our Hedron Network team in Leeds. As a key member of our Business Support team, you will play a vital role in managing our agencies and business relationships with trading partners.

Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of agency and TOBA arrangements between insurers and brokers, as well as experience in cultivating strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the arrangement of new agencies and TOBAs, including assessing new insurer and product requests, agency applications, and hedron TOBAs with insurers.
  • Interface with relevant internal functions, including Compliance, Agency and Product Governance teams, to exchange information and fulfill regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor due diligence on insurers via REG UK or other systems, liaise with System Consultants, Broking Desk & Brokers, and maintain the Client Money TOBA register.

  • You will have a strong understanding of compliance within an insurance broking environment.
  • You will have a high level of personal organization, attention to detail, and tenacity to 'get the job done'.
  • You will have experience in cultivating strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
