Job Summary: We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with children with autism and other learning difficulties, providing support and assistance in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pupils with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other moderate learning difficulties.
  • Work with small groups of pupils or on a one-to-one basis to target individual learning needs.
  • Assist pupils with Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCP), discussing their performance in school.
  • Apply behaviour management techniques to identify and manage behavioural traits.

Requirements:

  • Recent Psychology Graduate with a passion for education and working with children.
  • Ability to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check.
  • Two employment-based references.
  • Awareness of safeguarding procedures.

Pay and Benefits: The salary for this position will be between £420 and £450 per week, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent in the future.
