We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the UCLH Centre for Weight Management, Metabolic and Endocrine Surgery.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the assessment and treatment of individuals referred for bariatric surgery and patients requiring further support in the post-operative period. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with physical health problems in a hospital-based setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults who are overweight/obese and have an understanding of the associated medical comorbidities and social and psychological implications of obesity. They will also possess knowledge of the different types of bariatric surgery and the complexity involved when assessing people for this type of intervention as a treatment for obesity.

As a Clinical Psychologist at UCLH, you will be responsible for providing supervision to junior colleagues and contributing to the development of clinical practice guidelines and policies. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of clinical practice, record-keeping, and report-writing in accordance with the Healthcare Professions Council and the British Psychological Society's code of conduct.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
