Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Old Mill. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company adheres to all ICAEW Practice Assurance standards and Ethical Standards.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards. Your expertise will enable you to develop and implement effective compliance programs, evaluate existing policies, and conduct audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and can effectively train and educate staff on compliance matters. If you are passionate about ensuring compliance within the accounting industry, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that align with accounting regulations and standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist with legislative and regulatory matters.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations.
- Train and educate staff on compliance matters.
Requirements:
- AAC or ACCA qualification (or soon to be qualified).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
