**Job Summary**

A Health and Safety Compliance Specialist is sought by NAES Corporation to ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation across the company's utility and energy assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures, conducting site audits and inspections, and providing expert guidance on health and safety matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures that align with client requirements and ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation.
  • Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to perform audits and inspections of facilities, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Training and Development: Identify and develop training materials, delivering training to employees as required, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely.
  • Risk Assessments: Support site staff in the creation, development, and review of risk assessments, identifying and implementing suitable control measures to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Experience: At least 5 years' experience working in a utility or similar-based industry with exposure to process safety systems.
  • Skills: Strong incident investigation skills, including root cause analysis, and understanding of applicable safety statutes and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
