About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Cathedral Appointments | South West Recruitment. As a QHSE Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure compliance with ISO and Health and Safety Standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking over day-to-day elements related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) certifications, as well as supporting other regulatory certifications such as IECEx, ATEX, and UKEx. You will also prepare and update relevant statistical tracking data and reports, develop and implement emergency response systems and health, safety, and environmental plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking over day-to-day elements relating to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) certifications
  • Supporting IECEx, ATEX, and UKEx certifications
  • Preparing and updating relevant statistical tracking data and reports
  • Developing and implementing emergency response systems and health, safety, and environmental plans

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational HSE and working with Integrated Management Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to use own initiative and strong communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
