Trading Standards Officer/ Admin

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Triumph Consultants Limited. This interim assignment is for 3 months and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment enforcing legislation administered by the Trading Standards Service.

Salary

£20 per hour (PAYE basis)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out visits to businesses for investigation and advice purposes
  • Responding to requests for business advice from traders
  • Investigating complaints as required
  • Dealing with complex advice to businesses, resolving any issues to ensure compliance
  • Running a variety of projects within the service business plan, to successful conclusions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade C (Grade 4) or above - or their equivalent - (including Maths & English Language)
  • Quality Control, audit and investigative experience showing clear results
