About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Practice Lead to join our Exeter Home Treatment Team, providing mental health and treatment services to those who need it.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Clinical Team Manager and Senior Nurse Manager to develop clinical practice and enhance our leadership team.

This 12-month fixed-term/secondment role presents an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills and experience as a professional nurse to drive improvements in patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing clinical practice and enhancing leadership within the team
  • Working closely with the Home Treatment Team to provide intensive home treatment for individuals aged 18 and above
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards within their assigned clinical pathways/teams
  • Guaranteeing that all individuals receiving care and treatment from the service do so in line with Trust strategic objectives

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • PROFESSIONAL NURSE WITH SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE
  • RISK ASSESSMENT/MANAGEMENT SKILLS
  • EVIDENCE OF WORKING THERAPEUTICALLY WITH INDIVIDUALS
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS
  • ABILITY TO MANAGE CHANGE IN A POSITIVE MANNER
  • KNOWLEDGE OF KEY AREAS OF PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH PRACTICE
  • SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE OF MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS
