About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Specialist Nurse, working across Nottinghamshire in the field of Diabetes. As a passionate advocate for high-quality care, you will work closely with healthcare professionals and patients to improve patient outcomes in line with National guidelines.

Salary Details

The annual salary for this role is between £45,000 and £60,000, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a company car or car allowance, bonus, NMC/RCN fees, pension scheme, private health insurance, and additional package benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with patients and healthcare professionals in primary care.
  • Deliver a unique nursing programme that focuses on driving best practice and improving patient outcomes.
  • Provide education, support, and advice to people with Type 2 Diabetes, maintaining intimate knowledge of national treatment guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience (post-registration) managing diabetes within primary care.
  • Current (NMC) Registration and a Diabetes Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Fully UK Driving Licence and strong organisational skills.
