About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work with a wonderful team, providing specialist care and support for babies, children, and their families. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans;
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals;
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective practice;
  • To participate in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions;
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration with the NMC;
  • Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a hospital or hospice setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals;
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a willingness to continuously learn and develop skills;
