We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Dovehaven Lodge, a nursing home catering for up to 112 residents. As a Clinical Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the care team and ensuring that care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional levels of care to residents.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the care team and ensure that care staff are providing high-quality care to residents
- Supervise and instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home
- Promote and deliver high standards of care, ensuring that residents feel comfortable and respected
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care and support
- NVQ level 2 in health and social care is essential
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting is required
- Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organised with excellent communication and written skills
- Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Dependable and able to work well under pressure, with flexibility to meet the needs of the Home
- 'Earn While You Learn' scheme - complete a Diploma (NVQ) whilst working for us
- Excellent work environment with a dedicated team
- 4 weekly pay and paid DBS
