About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Bid Manager to join our team at Alexander Dennis. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a 37-hour working week with flexible working options, giving you that much needed work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee opportunities throughout all phases of the bid and contract process.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, and wider Commercial team to deliver on customer tenders.
- Ensure a uniform tone of bid across all bid documents aligned with the company’s branding.
- Manage the cataloguing of customer tenders, quotations, contract numbers, and order documentation.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in bid planning with timely and compelling execution.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams to execute a compelling bid.
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Commercial awareness of both the business and the marketplace.
