Senior Clinical Perfusion Specialist

Job Summary

The successful applicant will join a dynamic team as an experienced and autonomous practitioner in Clinical Perfusion Science, contributing to the treatment of patients with varied pathologies. The post holder will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties to successfully deliver clinical services, including conventional cardiac surgery, complex aortic, cardiothoracic transplantation, adult congenital heart disease, liver surgery, and MCS support.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality clinical services, utilizing specialized perfusion techniques and equipment.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
  3. Manage and allocate resources, including financial and human resources, to ensure efficient service delivery.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  5. Contribute to research and development initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in perfusion science.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  7. Develop and maintain analytical and judgmental skills to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  8. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
