The post holder will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties to successfully deliver clinical services, including conventional cardiac surgery, complex aortic, cardiothoracic transplantation, adult congenital heart disease, liver surgery, and MCS support.
Main Responsibilities- Undertake a wide range of clinical and non-clinical duties to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Take responsibility for a specific clinical and non-clinical aspect of the service, as required.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Divide time between clinical and managerial responsibilities, ensuring continuous professional development.
- PgDip Perfusion Science or equivalent.
- Accredited with the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists.
- Registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists.
- Proven continuous experience in specialized perfusion techniques.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
