Are you passionate about delivering cutting-edge railway signalling systems? We're seeking a talented Senior Command Control & Signalling Engineer to join our Charlton Recruitment team. This exciting opportunity requires a skilled professional with experience in CCS engineering, particularly in high-speed rail projects.

In this role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cohesive engineering solutions, provide technical support for CCS engineering discipline, and contribute to managing technical risks. Your strong communication skills will help you effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.

This position is ideal for experienced professionals who have held roles like Senior CCS / Signalling Design Managers, Engineering Managers, or technical authorities in client organisations or Signalling engineers from testing facilities. A Chartered status or near chartering is also preferred.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To engage and manage stakeholders to achieve a unified approach to engineering solution development.
  • Support in ensuring the provision of technical assurance for the CCS engineering discipline.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to create comprehensive CCS solutions that take into account all interconnected systems and subsystems.
  • Determine specifications, requirements, and standards that enable effective railway capabilities while addressing potential environmental impacts.
  • Participate in the management of technical risk for CCS engineering activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Possess thorough knowledge of the Common Safety Method (CSM) and its connection to CCS projects.
  • Understand how control command and signalling systems interact with rail operations and possess extensive knowledge in various aspects of CCS.

Compensation Package:

  • An attractive daily rate of £600 - £625, contingent upon your experience.
  • A hybrid work arrangement where two weekdays can be spent in the office, with the remaining days devoted to remote work.
