About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Maintenance Shift Manager to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Culture of Safety: Identify areas of risk within the automation area and lead by example to promote a culture of safety onsite.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Carry out trend analysis and create reports and dashboards to support the senior operational team in making informed decisions.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Actively carry out root cause analysis on automation incidents, supplying in-depth analysis and reliable countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Performance and Availability: Deliver performance and availability KPIs, ensuring maximum value is maintained.
  • Planning and Integration: Support the planning of the operation in relation to the system and building workflow, and work closely with IT to ensure wider KPI system integration and ongoing performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement opportunities and provide feedback on performance.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain all documentation relating to engineering-specific subjects, such as FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), and support the onsite training team by providing automation-specific training to frontline colleagues.
  • Operational Support: Support the operational team using engineering experience to develop robust processes and be an active member of the maintenance team, advising on plant safety, condition, and performance.
Requirements
  • Logistics Automation experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership qualities.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
  • Ideally NVQ Level 3 qualified in an Engineering Subject.
