- Maintain Documentation: Ensure that all maintenance records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
- Identify Obsolescence Risk: Monitor equipment condition and identify opportunities to upgrade or replace equipment to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Support Onsite Training: Provide technical training and support to frontline colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Complete Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with team members to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Manage Staff Rota: Ensure that the maintenance team is adequately staffed to meet the demands of our warehouse operations.
- Allocate Resources: Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet business needs and that priorities are aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure Operational Expectations: Ensure that all operational expectations are met and that daily ordering fulfillment is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Advise on Site Safety: Provide technical advice and guidance on site safety and condition to the site management team.
- Manage Aldi Expectations: Ensure that Aldi expectations are met and that relationships with stakeholders are maintained at a high level.
- Identify Talent: Identify talented individuals within the site and recommend them for development and succession planning.
- Experience in MHE Maintenance: Proven experience in leading a maintenance department in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Operations: Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a maintenance department.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary of £44,880 rising to £48,130.
- Flexible Working Hours: A 5-day week with 40 or 45 hour contracts available.
