Job Title: Residential Care Worker - Belfast

About the Role:

  • This position involves working in residential settings, providing care and support to young people aged 12-17, 8-12, and unaccompanied minors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to residents, adhering to Keenan Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 4 GCSEs (grades A-C), including English language and mathematics at grade C or above, plus 2 years' experience working with young people who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.
  2. NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or equivalent, plus 1 year's experience working with young people who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviors.

A driving licence and access to a car are also required for the role.

Salary Information:

  • The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly rate of £16.08 (Band 4 support workers working Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 8.00pm).
  • A premium rate of £21.18 applies to unsociable hours worked (Sunday and public holidays 24 hours) and can impact overall annual earnings.
