Looking for a fantastic opportunity to work with children in a supportive and collaborative environment?
Randstad are supporting HSCNI within a residential children's setting to recruit long term support workers.
With over 25 years experience recruiting within the Healthcare market in NI, we are best placed to support your job search.
**Benefits**:
- Shift work including evenings, nights, sleep-ins and weekends - Rota basis
- £13.84 per hour, basic pay rate
- Premium pay rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays from £17.99 - £27.67 per hour

**Requirements**:
- Degree Qualified within teaching, youth work or other relevant discipline is highly desirable
- A driving licence is an essential requirement (unless a medical reason prevents this)
- Previous experience within a Health & Social Care Trust would be highly advantageous
- Has a proven track record of effective leadership and management of a service in residential childcare, health and/or social care/youth justice/education
- Effective communicator
- Strong organisational & time management skills
- NISCC registration essential
- Fully IT Literate
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the provision of safe, effective person - centred, compassionate care
- Maintain the confidentiality of all information, regarding service users at all times
- Report and accurately record all activities undertaken
- Accountability for safeguarding children and young people from potential risks and harm
- Ensuring that children and young people are cared for in every element of their lives
- Being understanding through meaningful, non-judgemental relationships and respect the dignity, wishes and beliefs of all service users
- Collaborating with your team, external agencies, family members, and specialist departments to achieve the best outcomes for our young people
