IntaPeople: STEM Recruitment is partnering with an innovative electronics manufacturing company to find a highly skilled Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their team in South Wales.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Align the company's New Product Introduction (NPI) strategy with internal teams and suppliers to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Assist in the design and test of various electro-mechanical fixtures and test equipment.
  • Lead the development of production documentation and inject expertise into design reviews to ensure products are built to the highest standards.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing practices and ensure contract manufacturers are always at the forefront of the industry.
  • Manage the NPI industrialisation process, from process mapping to troubleshooting, to ensure smooth transitions from concept to production.
  • Design and support production setups, implement engineering changes, and analyse data to drive continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

  • Desirable: degree or apprenticeship in electronics manufacturing, coupled with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Ideal: proficiency in C#/LabVIEW/software development, and desirable understanding of electronic schematics and circuits.
  • Experience of New Product Introduction and testing electro-mechanical fixtures.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of quality processes like 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Note:** This role requires 3 days a week visits to the company's Cardiff base, and there is a small percentage of international travel involved.
