Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Band 6 Mental Health Service Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our service and make a significant contribution to the delivery of mental health care in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the complex needs of our patients.
  2. To work closely with GPs, social services, and third-sector organisations to ensure seamless integration of services and effective case management.
  3. To engage in outreach activities, including community events and initiatives, to promote healthcare accessibility and address the social determinants of health.
  4. To provide leadership and management to our mental health service team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Requirements
  • A Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current UK NMC registration.
  • Degree or Diploma in Adult Nursing.
  • Evidence of completed leadership courses or training.
  • Training on conducting effective appraisals.
  • Qualification in Mentorship or Student Supervision (desirable).
  • Training in Psychosocial Interventions (desirable).
Salary and Benefits
