About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RMN/RNLD to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse Specialist Leader. You will be responsible for coordinating care and treatment for patients without direct supervision, developing and delivering evidence-based practice, and participating in multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide care and treatment to identified patient groups without direct supervision
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based practice that supports individual patient needs and Company objectives
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to team processes through clinical assessment tools
  • Produce written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
  • Attend training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing
  • Manage ward activities, ensuring daily plans meet patient and staff requirements
  • Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained under NMC guidelines
  • Work closely with management to develop services, audit, and improve quality; act up for Clinical Team Leader during absences as required
  • Administer prescribed medicines according to healthcare procedures and guidelines

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity
  • A good understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices
