Meet and Events Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meet and Events Manager to join our team at Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. As a Meet and Events Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business and ensuring all processes and brand standards are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the MICE sales team to drive enquiry conversion and recognize opportunities to up-sell to clients.
  • Be hands-on in managing event sales and develop relationships with key clients and agents to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide support to the planning team as required.
  • Holding site visits and client visits as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Eye for detail and the ability to actively use own initiative.
  • Ability to work various shift patterns including weekends.
