Leonardo UK is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Joint Avionics Service (JAS) Data Support Analyst team, working closely with our JAS Partner, BAES, to maintain a single source of truth for in-service support data.
Key Responsibilities:- Retrieve, structure, and analyze operational, engineering, and logistics data to enable monitoring and optimization of the spares and repairs chain performance.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with Service Delivery and Project Engineering managers and associated teams to feed data analysis into performance monitoring and decision making.
- Liaise with various departments, including logistics, field engineers, and QA, to ensure seamless data exchange and analysis.
- Work closely with the CS3 Digital team to facilitate tool development, defining requirements and supporting verification processes.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to establish support strategies and conduct support modeling tasks.
- Contribute to continuous process and procedural improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in the industry.
- Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience applying the principles of Supportability engineering and standards.
- Knowledge of logistics and engineering activities required to support complex Defence or Aerospace products.
- Experience working with Engineering Project Managers and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and drawing insights from data to produce current and forecast projections.
- Technical competence in creating data visualizations that provide a clear representation of complex data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the wider TyTAN JAS team.
- Familiarization with Power BI, Power Apps, and Data Analysis Tools.
- Considerable level of expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
- Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem-solving and driving challenging issues to conclusion.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with an ability to influence and adapt according to changing demands.
