Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our HR team at Ortolan People. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving HR processes and initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Conducting statistical analyses and predictive modelling to support HR initiatives and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Collaborating with HR stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop reports and analytics to meet their needs.
- Collecting, collating, and analysing HR data from various sources, employee surveys, performance evaluations, and other relevant systems.
- Using data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Developing and maintaining HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate HR data and insights to C-suite and the wider business.
- Providing HR data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive HR initiatives.
- Staying updated with HR trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to enhance HR data analysis capabilities.
- Participating in HR projects including HR system implementations, process improvements, and automation.
- Supporting HR with special projects including regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Providing training and guidance to HR team members on data analysis tools and techniques.
- Data entry into HRIS, auditing the HR data and systems and ad hoc HR duties.
About You
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex HR data sets.
- Advanced proficiency in using data analysis tools and programming languages, such as MS Excel or other statistical software.
- Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role.
- Experience with data tools and the ability to create compelling reports.
- Knowledge of HR processes, workflows, metrics, and KPIs desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
