Job Title: Sales Executive - Territory Development

About the Company: Liz Orpwood Recruitment Ltd is an expanding and successful company seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Sales Executive to develop and manage sales territories across the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and attending networking events.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need relevant chemistry qualifications (e.g., Degree Level or higher) and a proven track record within sales to professional chemists or users of laboratory equipment. Excellent planning skills, great communication abilities, and the capacity to build relationships at all levels are essential. Experience selling to sectors within pharma, research, chemical manufacturing, academia, Biotech, or similar is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage sales territories
  • Manage existing clients
  • Identify and seek new business opportunities
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, and networking events
  • Product demonstrations and training

Compensation Package: The attractive compensation package includes a competitive salary (£35,000 - £50,000 per annum), car allowance, commission, pension, and standard benefits. This role requires you to be based in the north-east, borders, or southern Scotland to enable easy access to your area.
