About the Role

As a Business Development Director at TSG, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion within the SME market. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to increase revenue and market share, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure solutions. This is a home-based role with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Drive business growth and expansion within the SME market.
  • Build and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Accurately record and update pipeline activity in CRM.
  • Research and understand individual market sectors to identify potential customer targets.
  • Forecast sales by month and quarter.
  • Demonstrate TSG's product and services suite clearly and differentiate TSG's offering within the market.
  • Successfully position TSG's solutions within the context appropriate to the specific client or sector.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required.
  • Track progress against targets and take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being met.

Requirements
  • Extensive business development experience.
  • A number of years consecutive over-achievement against individual targets.
  • A proven background selling Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Able to adapt to, embrace, and lead change.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a broad understanding of business issues.
  • An understanding of needs-based sales methodology.
  • Proactive and highly organized with strong time management and planning skills.
