Business Development Manager

Newcastle University offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Business and Communities Executive. As part of our team, you will play a key role in fostering and maintaining long-term industry and sector relationships.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with an expected start date in January or February 2025. The role requires strong networking and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining long-term partnerships.
The successful candidate will manage and deliver the Hub's Edge AI solutions portfolio, working closely with partners to understand their needs and objectives. They will also project support and coordination, assisting partners in the deployment of research outcomes and ensuring that Hub projects are delivered effectively.
A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience. In addition to this, the university offers a generous holiday package, a range of health and wellbeing initiatives, and access to training and development opportunities.
As a Business and Communities Executive at Newcastle University, you will be responsible for supporting the Hub Director, Hub Manager, and Research Impact Director in achieving the Hub's vision. You will also be required to develop strategic plans for partner engagement, focusing on maximizing the impact and relevance of the Hub's research activities.
