Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Casual Play and Activities Coordinator. The successful candidate will work closely with young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in Pembrokeshire, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Casual Play and Activities Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and leading play-based sessions that cater to the diverse needs of young people with ALN
- Developing and implementing tailored approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual
- Fostering positive relationships among participants and promoting social inclusion
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A sensitive and knowledgeable approach to supporting young people with ALN
- Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
- The ability to implement child-centred and play-based sessions
Benefits:
Pembrokeshire County Council offers a competitive salary range of £20,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive training package, which includes a DBS disclosure check.
