Why be an ESPA Business Manager at THG?The ESPA Business Manager plays a crucial role in driving results within our business. Based on the shop floor with your team, you'll inspire and educate teams and customers to find their Inner Calm. You'll lead the team and the ESPA business by driving sales of treatments and products, developing sales and awareness of the ESPA brand using internal and external promotional activities. You'll actively seek new business opportunities while maintaining loyalty through exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for growing ESPA sales in treatments and products within retail accounts – proactively drive sales and ensure personal targets and counter targets are met. Strive to exceed set targets.
- Raise awareness of the ESPA brand and educate prospective customers about the product range and treatment menu.
- Collect daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures. Analyse the business and produce business plans/reports, ensuring the team is aware of their figures and targets. Break down how to achieve goals with the team.
- Create rotas on a rolling monthly basis that are fair and consistent, ensuring sufficient counter cover. Manage attendance and timekeeping according to business expectations.
- Maintain the ESPA counter, site, and treatment areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. Accountable for ensuring the team presents themselves to the highest standard.
- Manage, support, and develop a small team within your retail store by continuously monitoring and assessing performance and individual needs. Ensure Company standards, image, and values are maintained.
- Ensure information cascades down to your team from training/meetings. Implement adjustments/additions within working days to ensure business success.
- Conduct complete stock checks weekly/fortnightly and rectify any discrepancies found.
- Lead and participate in promotional/PR activity to ensure the success of promotions/events.
- Previous business management experience, ideally within a retail environment.
- Minimum Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, with active hands-on treatment experience.
- Proven sales record / retail experience / business acumen, and experience in reporting and analysing sales and KPI data.
- Experience in team leadership & ability to influence at all levels.
- Entrepreneurial and forward-thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Professional, supportive, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Experience working independently or collaboratively to drive events.
