Escape Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Field Sales Professional to join their manufacturing client in East Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional looking to join a successful organisation and contribute to their growth and development.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sales volume and margin targets for specified existing and new customer accounts. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, owning and managing demand forecasts, and providing support and advice in all areas of New Product Development.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver sales volume and margin targets for specified existing and new customer accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships with your existing and potential customers
- Own and manage the demand forecast for your customer accounts
- Attend and drive customer account review meetings
- Promote customer onsite visits to the manufacturing site and facilitate internally
- Provide support and advice in all areas of New Product Development
- Raise new customer enquiries as required on the CRM system
- Work closely with and fully support internal customer service team
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage and coordinate margin improvement / cost reduction initiatives
- Support our production department to improve productivity through design changes as required
- Monitor and report on market and competitors' activities to assist with future investment strategy plans
Requirements:
- Previous sales &/or account management experience ideally within manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG markets
- Experience in delivering client focused solutions and bespoke sales proposals
- Able to demonstrate ability to develop strong customer relationships
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales activities, revenue targets and KPI targets
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
- Willing to work cross functionally in order to ensure the high quality and service delivery to the customer at all times
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and demanding environment
- Confident IT skills including MS Office – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Full UK driving licence is essential
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £42,000 + Bonus + Car
- Based: Field Based Covering East Scotland
