Strategic Business Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our public sector sales efforts and drive growth for CityFibre in the UK.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team and play a key role in shaping our business development strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline of large-scale strategic business development opportunities in the public sector
- Manage key accounts that provide national opportunity for CityFibre, developing account plans and securing further trading growth
- Act as a market sector expert to support development of CityFibre's strategy
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of target achievement and closed deals >£5m+ in the local government market
- Strong strategic mind-set with ability to identify new opportunities or commercial approach that provide strategic advantage
- Experience leading commercial opportunities in the public sector, including customer relationship management, proposal development, bid management, contract development and negotiation
What We Offer
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, a day off on your birthday, and a comprehensive wellbeing package.
