Manchester, United Kingdom Prospero Teaching Full time

As a Learning Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support to students in the Hindley area who require additional assistance beyond traditional classroom settings.

You will be responsible for developing tailored learning plans that meet the unique needs of each student. A key aspect of this role is being patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your teaching approach.

Tuition sessions will take place during school hours, Monday to Friday, replacing traditional schooling for these students. We value transparency and expect regular updates from our specialists regarding student progress.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or significant tutoring experience
  • Preferred UK classroom teaching experience, though not mandatory
  • Ability to think creatively, be patient, and welcome new approaches
  • Proven experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those who are disengaged
